45 years ago I received my first camera as a present from my father and since then what was initially a hobby has developed into a genuine passion. My love of animals in general and horses and dogs in particular hve gradually, over the course of my life, become a vocation which I have followed. Equestrian sport has also accompanied me since childhood so it was really only a question of getting the courage together to move on from my original profession and to dedicate myself completely to what I really loved  - to healing and photographing animals.

So that is why I am here now! At the age of over 50 years I have started up my own business as an enthusiastic equine osteopath and also as an animal photographer. Through my friendship with Gabriele Boiselle, whom I often had the pleasure of accompanying in her work, I have learned a great deal about equestrian photography. She was also the person who convinced me about the merits of digital photography.
